Why  do We Need The Holy Quran?

 If we look at the pre-Islam era and compare it with our era, we find out how the Qur’an has changed our lives. This world became calm because of the Quran. There is only one book that guides man on the straight path and that is the Holy Quran. And there are many scholars who study this holy book but all have their own idea about the meaning.

Our knowledge about Quran comes from either tradition or word of mouth. The truth is that you can never gain complete knowledge. Only by reading the Qur’an can one gain complete knowledge. The message or the revelation is clearly stated in the holy Qur'an. It will help us to understand every aspect and make wise decisions. Here are some facts about studying the true Quran:

One Book for All Prophets : Islam requires a single God for all prophets. They do not mention Allah in any part of their teachings because of confusion and disagreement between some scholars. But when one reads the holy Qur’an and it talks about His Prophet Muhammad, then it gets clear that the Almighty One is all for them. This is why Muslims say, “O Muhammad (salallahu wa salam), there is no god except Allah. He (Allah) is Merciful and Compassionate.”

This is Allah. Then it becomes crystal clear that there is no difference between believers and unbelievers. A person can be an atheist if he does not believe in the existence of angels or Allah. A Muslim cannot become an atheist if he believes in the sacredness of human life and its place within the Divine plan.

Every Verse in Scripture Should Be Studied: When people ask themselves what they should learn from books, they usually think only about the stories. These books teach a lot about history, geography, science, etc. But you should also concentrate on God’s words and instructions. So, for example, you must read the verses in Surah Al-Anfa, where it says, “And you shall surely know a good thing when you hear it in something else,” so that you can understand the whole context of that verse and its meaning. There are plenty of books in different languages that tell great insights about the creation and evolution of mankind. That means, even though these books seem quite simple, they still tell you so much about the Universe and everything in it.

After that experience where the two friends were sitting on the table having their food, they decided that they wanted to buy a bicycle. Finally, they made their plans and paid for the required amount of money. Once they got their bike, the friend who bought a car was so fascinated with what she saw that she tried her best to convince her that a motorbike would be a better choice than a car. Her father had told her that it was not proper to drive a car and also that if anyone rides in it, chances of getting injured or even dying are high. She never listened to anybody and kept driving her car. Before long, the friend who was already addicted to cars got seriously ill and passed away in hospital. That incident taught her that we must always have faith in something that can lead us to happiness.

Man can live without understanding the world around him, but a faithful Muslim knows that his faith will save him from eternal damnation. Those books that give details about miracles are the best way to get closer to Allah and avoid going astray.

Awareness Is Power: Some people claim that education is the most important gift you can give yourself. However, it is your choice whether you want to go through higher education. As long as you are aware of the purpose of education and what it means to God, you will achieve more success in life. Therefore, learning is a duty of everyone, regardless of the level of education.

The Qur’an teaches us that everyone has the right, but only those who show love to others will receive God’s favors. In short, reading the Qur’an will show us that nothing can separate us from Allah, and that’s essential.
